Refunds and Cancellations

Last updated 27 October 2026

How cancelling and refunds work for what you pay Shankh Labs: monthly plans for Aura, Hella and Nexus CMS, and one-time work such as a brand, a website or a custom build. If your organisation has a signed agreement with us, its payment terms win wherever the two differ. The same policy appears on all our sites.

Monthly plans

  • You can cancel at any time. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, then stops.
  • Plans are paid in advance. A period that has already started is not refunded, in full or in part.
  • A free trial costs nothing. If you don't choose a plan when it ends, you are not billed.
  • Moving to a bigger plan during a period is billed only for the days left. Moving to a smaller plan starts from your next bill.

One-time work

This covers work such as a brand and its guide, a website or online shop, and software built for you.

  • If you cancel before work starts, we refund your advance in full.
  • If you cancel after work has started, we refund the part of what you paid that covers work not yet delivered. Work you have already received, such as designs, drafts, pages or code, is not refunded.
  • If your quote splits the work into stages, a stage we have handed over counts as delivered.

Charged by mistake

If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged for a period after your cancellation took effect, we refund the difference in full.

How a refund reaches you

  • We confirm your refund, or explain why we can't make one, within 7 working days of hearing from you.
  • A refund goes back the way you paid: to the same card, UPI account or bank account through Razorpay, or by bank transfer if you paid by transfer.
  • Once we send it, it usually reaches you within 5 to 7 working days, depending on your bank.

Orders from shops that use our products

If you bought something from a business that takes payments through Hella or a Nexus CMS website, that business made the sale, not Shankh Labs. Ask them about a refund. Our terms explain this.
